What is TV like today? Is it becoming more popular, or are people pushing the TV back and pulling out their computers and phones to watch movies and shows on Netflix? Most TV shows now aren't as entertaining as they used to be, all of them have the same plot: drama, relationships, medical emergencies, etc. The same can be said for movies. Most shows are becoming a monotonous showcasing of the same thing that was referenced to on that other show two channels back. I do believe that TV is becoming more of a obsolete thing, and more people would much rather whip out the X-Box remote and click over to Netflix than watch the news.

Buying stuff online is great. You find it, click buy, put in the credit card number and it's on your doorstep three days later. Amazing right? But some people are a little more conscious of what they are buying. They read the reviews, find better models, and get great deals. But how much can we trust the reviews? The reviews are placed on the site by consumers and past buyers, but what if they made that book binder on Amazon loose a metal piece? See, the reviews could just be lies placed on the site by people who dislike the product. When reading consumer reviews online, always make sure there is an agreement among the reviews before you buy.
I, personally, have never felt very bad due to social media. I also have never made anyone feel bad on social media. It is important to respect other people's feelings and treat them the way you want to be treated. Image courtesy of www.iconshut.com
"What do you wish you could see, hear, read or experience for the 1st time all over again?" I would like to experience my first ride on an upside down roller-coaster again because I remember it being absolutely terrifying. But now, looking back at the ride, I have come to realize that it isn't actually that scary, and I'd redo it in a heartbeat. Image courtesy of www.themeparkreview.com
Many people know the pain of a lot of homework. You've worked on assignments, taken notes, and listened intently all week. You're ready for a break as you get on the bus to go home, but your stomach drops to your feet as you realize you have homework. A lot of it. On a Friday. You lift your backpack, which consists of; a binder, two textbooks, a laptop, and a lunch. The bus stops at your house and you struggle off the bus and into the house. As you read your assignments for the weekend, you sigh. Two assignments for History, a test for English, multiple work pages for Algebra, and an essay for Science. Now you have to stay up all night, with your only break being dinner. The question we're all asking is; is there too much? The average homework load per class per day for a high school student in the U.S. is at least one assignment per class, most students having up to eight classes a day.
Self esteem can be a good and bad thing. There is a time when too much is not okay. On social media, some people senselessly follow other people. I have seen some people self esteem sky rocket from a large amount of followers on social media, they think they're hot shots. Some people don't have enough self esteem. A high self esteem level can lead to people think that someone is rude, or altogether, a jerk.
What you post on the internet is there forever. Even if you "delete" it, it's still able to be found, seen, and may prevent you from getting the dream job you've always wanted, or worse; loosing your dream job.
Online identity is something we all have. But it's also something we all need to protect. You should select a fake name while creating an account. You can use the website http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/ and click generate. You can use the sliders to edit the age and gender. You can also change the country that one lives in/from, and you can change the race. Photo curtosy of sunny95.com
