Welcome to the blog page :)
Footsteps and chatter fill your ears. You stumble into the crowd as everyone tries to stall showing up to class on time. It's 9:15, and school has just begun. Um, I mean, classes have just begun. School started an hour and a half or so ago. You have to be at school for 7:30; but don't worry, you don't have anything to do until you're fully awake. At 9:30, the second bell rings, class goes for an hour, and then you move on to the next one. Academic classes and electives are intermingled with perfect balance, so one day isn't more straining than another. For example; say you're in Geometry Honors, Culinary, and Computer Programming with a Library Block. You'd start the day with Culinary, then Geometry, then your Library Block, and finally, Computer Programming. Academic, elective, academic, elective. See? Balanced. Okay, so now it's 12:30. You just got out of your last class. Now, it's a lunch block. Students in any grade can sit anywhere. Lunch can be eaten in or outside, also, the meals are prepared by the culinary arts class. After lunch, at 1:20, students head out to the athletic fields, culinary arts hall, gym, auditorium, band room, or library. The following activities will be participated in until the bell at 3:00; soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse. A movie will be played in the auditorium (depending on rating and student body choice), snacks will be made for everyone in the culinary arts hall, yoga in the gym, music can be played in the band room, or you can just settle down with a book in the library. In conclusion, if I had to run a highschool, it would be laid back and fun, while academic and healthy.

Four legs. Elegant fur. Harsh, yet beautiful blue eyes. If I could be any animal, I would be a wolf. Preferably a Black Wolf. They are absolutely gorgeous, and I really feel a connection with them. Imagine running and depending on, even protecting others of your own kind, having a successful day, teaching younger ones, it all sounds amazing. Wolves are very curious and compelling to me. I honestly don't know how to explain it, but I feel a connection.
image courtesy of: www.youtube.com The firm and strict line leaves the man's mouth. "You must get out, stay out, and never come back. Take three items. Family members and animals are out of the building. You have sixty seconds." The shock attacks, shrouding me in an overwhelming cloud of surprise and sadness. Three items. Never return. What should I take? Three things I care about most. I take a step back, stumbling for my favorite book Left Behind, guitar, and my lucky necklace. And as I walked from my home, my sanctuary, my happy place, I think over what I have, and regret nothing. The requirement of choosing between many items to only take three can stress out many people to the point of confusion. If you get to the point, and grab what comes to mind first, the decision is easier to make, and takes less time. I chose the three items; Left Behind, my guitar, and my lucky necklace because these are three things I wouldn't be able to keep sane with out. It sounds ridiculous, but it is true. Ever since I got my lucky necklace, I've worn non-stop. It really is lucky. Ever since I got it, I've had nothing but good luck. I can't live with out music, so a guitar would be helpful, and Left Behind is one of those books where you can read it over and over, and it never gets old!
Image courtesy of: degrassi.wikia.com Imagine a little, faithful companion, smart, adorable, cunning, and friendly, always by your side. Or rather, on your shoulder. Or cradled around your index finger. A Pygmy Marmoset, the cutest, and best pet I have ever imagined having. Pygmy Marmosets are small monkeys, actually, they're the smallest monkeys. Weight just over four grams, they're tiny and really cute! I would love to have one, I'd play with it all the time, care for just as needed, and love it. Pygmy Marmosets are actually really friendly, despite the popular belief of them being mean and violent. I would also really enjoy a large bird, like an owl. Although, owning an owl in the U.S. is illegal. Owls are super cool. Overall, I really, really like exotic pets, and would love a Pygmy Marmoset!
Image courtesy of: www.pinterest.com Ever wished you could step out of your own body and into someone else's? At one point, I believe we all have. High school life can be very boring. If I could change who I was, I would become one of the 4% of the population with all the world's wealth. Imagine, not a care at all, and nothing is too expensive. You could do anything you could ever want, with no strings attached! I have no one in specific that I would be, but, anyone rich would do. Just for one day, I could do anything without worrying "Do I have enough money?" or "I have enough, but is this worth it?" I may be wrong, but I picture wealthy people as being carefree, calm, and responsible people, which appeals as a role-model to me. After all, who doesn't want to be able to go "Hey, don't worry, I'll help you pay for your house." Or even be able to say the to yourself, and not have to worry about mortgage. In conclusion, if I, Kaylee-jo, were to leap from my own shoes and into another set, I would exchange lives for a day with someone of wealth.
You come home, turn on the TV. Politics. Go on the computer. Political ads. Newspaper. Donald Trump this, Bernie Sanders that. It drives me nuts! First things first, I do not like Donald Trump. Or Hillary Clinton. Or Bernie Sanders. Or any of the presidential candidates! Hillary Clinton? We need a woman in there, but not her. Donald Trump? He's just an idiot with ridiculous intentions. Well, at least he made onto the trending memes list. But seriously people, can we get a new draw! Different candidates PLEASE! I want a president, not a joke! I honestly am very displeased with the people involved in this year's presidential race. People think this is joke. If you must run for president, please, make sure you've screwed on the right head and remembered to bring your brain.
Image courtesy of www.metro.us Driving! What a wonderful thought. I absolutely cannot wait until I get my license. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always wanted a nice car, preferably a muscle car, or a sporty, race-like car. I've always been into the computing and engineering behind some of the most futuristic and chic cars, like self driving ones, cars with Apple's Siri, and one's with parking assist. I have a pretty active imagination, and would love to be the envy of all my friends with the nicest car. One with good millage, a loud (but not too loud) engine, sporty colors, and sleek interior. Most cars of this high quality are also high in cost, but nevertheless, I've always wanted to drive, but it'll come soon enough.
I dislike teen curfews, but that's probably because I'm a teen. Yes, I think a teen should be allowed to stay out as long as they like! Coming from a strict and rule anchored household, I love the idea of not worrying what time it is, or "aw, crap! I gotta be back at 8!" and the odd looks because of your early curfew. There are quite a few 'teen rules only' that I would love to go over, but that's for another blog post. Having to be home by a certain time SUCKS, especially when your friends are staying out for another hour or two, maybe even three. Scratch what I said earlier, I hate curfews. Being a teen means being too young for adult things and too old for being child, so we should have at least a little freedom.
Image courtesy of: http://comps.canstockphoto.com Making money, one of the most complicated and the least complicated things in everyday life as a teen. We make excuses, laze about, and beat around the bush, but the truth is, there is a better way to make a good amount of money. No, I'm not gonna tell you to walk the neighbor's dog for $15, but I will tell you there is something you can do. And make way more than $15. The best part? You don't even have to get off the couch!
